In addition to the Class Actions that my firm is involved with, the following are various other cases by former employees against DST Output. These individuals are probably very happy that they were not part of any arbitration program with DST.
Dorian Brandon v. DST OUPTUT WEST, LLC - Employment Discrimination
Roberto Garcia v. DST OUTPUT WEST, LLC - Unpaid overtime.
Delaine Gaw v. DST OUTPUT - Sex discrimination and Retaliation.
Jones v. DST OUTPUT, LLC. - Racial and Religious Discrimination. Plaintiff alleges that he "was baptized into the Mormon faith out of a fear that were he not to be baptized a Mormon, he would lose his job."
Jones v. DST OUTPUT, LLC SETTLEMENT. It appears that simply filing a lawsuit in a Court can convince DST to resolve the matter. This case was filed May 27, 2005 and was dismissed September 19, 2005. The dismissal states that "Defendant [DST] complied with the terms and conditions of the argreement," so it looks like the case was settled even before September 19, 2005. No wonder DST wants all their cases going to arbitration.
